Alameda Hospital is pleased to announce the opening of the Bay Area Bone and Joint Center- An affiliate of Alameda Hospital.
The center provides patients with multi-specialty advanced care. Led by renowned surgeon, Dr. Stehr and fellowship-training orthopedic surgeons, Dr. Nicholas Pirnia and Dr. James DiSefano, the center offers conservative and innovative approaches, including minimally-invasive therapies, to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries.

Fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine
Graduated from State University of New York Medical School and completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at Brigham & Women's Hospital, an Affiliate of Harvard University.
Nicholas Pirnia, M.D.
General Orthopedic Surgery
Fellowship-trained in Spine Surgery
Graduated from Ohio State University College of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Spinal Disorders at U.C. Davis Medical School.
Jack Stehr, M.D.
General Orthopedic Surgery
Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon
Graduated from the University of California, San Francisco, Medical School in 1976. He has been an active member of Alameda Hospital and the Alameda community for 34 years.
