Infection Control Practitioner

• Graduate of a school of nursing required
• BSN or MA in nursing preferred
• Current license to practice as an R.N. in the STate of California required
• Minimum 3 years Infection Control experience with APIC or CDC Qualified certification or equivalent education
• Minimum 3 years acute clinical with 1 year critical care experience required
• Ability to serve as a resource/consultant/educator to infection control activities within the hospital
• Knowledge of clinical information systems
• Knowledge of current reporting requirements
