Echocardiography Technician

On-Call, Non-benefited, Variable days (Req# 7590.02 - posted 6/19/08)

• College education, graduate of an approved Cardiac Ultrasound course (Echo Tech Certification)
• Current BCLS
• Completion of RDCS certification preferred, must be able to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and Dobutamine echoes
• Assists Physician with Transesophageal echocardiograms including patient preparation and follow up
• Knowledge of proper procedure to disinfect both Transesohageal and Transthoracic probes
• Demonstrates high level of knowledge of ultrasound machine
